Who we’re looking for
- Clear, direct communicator – comfortable expressing needs, giving feedback, having hard conversations including conflict and repair, and engaging in house meetings.
- Inclusive – genuinely welcoming of LGBTQ+, ENM, neurodivergent, and other diverse identities and lifestyles.
- Socially adaptable – at ease with a flow between lively community event days and quieter, low-interaction days. You don’t need to be an extrovert to live here. In fact, none of us are!!
- Growth-minded – willing to learn, adapt, and try new approaches in shared living.
- Financially reliable – can consistently pay rent and shared expenses on time.
- Regarding pets, there’s one shy cat (Gatsby) who lives upstairs and stays mostly in his owner’s room, but because one of our housemates has a cat allergy we unfortunately can’t live with any additional cats. A couple of us are dog lovers and we would consider living with a well-behaved dog.

About Us
We are creating a space that is both a welcoming home to the people living here and a thriving community hub for our loved ones, many of whom belong to the wider sex-positive, ethically non-monogamous, queer and/or kink communities. Among ourselves, we strive to be proactively communicative; open to growth and repair; collaborative and supportive; and above all else, kind. We have game days, movie nights, and spontaneous weird and meaningful conversations around the kitchen table (all optional) and a twice-a-month house meeting (required but we’ll decide a date/time together) As a community space, we like to hold events: potlucks, clothing swaps, cuddle parties, dance nights, and whatever events you might like to put on. While building a wider community is important to us, the wellbeing and cohesiveness of the house residents is our highest priority.
Housemates
Autumn, 46, they/them
Autumn is a cuddle party facilitator, professional cuddler, and writer that works freelance and contract jobs. They are a hybrid human and spend half their work time at home and half out in the wild. Autumn can often be found working (or scrolling) in their room or at the kitchen table, tackling a clutter clearing project, getting obsessed with a new art project, or training Gatsby (Erik’s cat) to kiss her on the lips. (Not there yet, but getting closer!) They love drag, making art with food, and live stand up comedy that doesn’t punch up or down.
They hate small talk and love diving deep into the world of grief, death, gender fuckery, sex, shame, their latest favorite book, and weird animal facts in conversations. They also enjoy board and card games – So Clover, Set, and Hanabi are current favorites. They will happily make you a cup of tea or share food with you when they bake something yummy.
Gold Stars: Communication, creativity, problem-solving
Learning Curves: Losing their bits and bobs and texting the house to be like, hey have yall seen my whatever the fuck, committing to too many projects, poor memory
Erik, 41, he/him
Erik is an introvert that likes cosplaying as an extrovert. He is an Apple nerd who also works for Apple (how convenient!). He has an orange cat named Gatsby and has similar energy as Erik: shy around new people but becomes a cuddle monster once he’s comfortable with you.
Erik enjoys watching Science Fiction TV and movies, including things like Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate (and more!). He loves Star Trek so much that he has even gone on a Star Trek Cruise!
He sucks at/hates small talk, loves diving into deeper topics like personal growth journeys. He’s recently been embracing his more hedonistic self and embracing sex positivity since joining Bonobo Network and attending cuddle parties.
He is a 2x cancer survivor and happy to talk about that experience to anyone who wants to hear it. The first time it was diagnosed was actually one of the major life events that put me on the path to joining Bonobos and discovering that I’m polyamorus.
In the mornings, Erik might be putzing around the house doing chores and humming to songs with his airpods in. He is generally a quiet person that has occasional bursts of chattiness depending on the topic, but overall he’s much more adept at listening than talking. He does not cook, but does enjoy food nonetheless.
Marcus, 41, he/him
Marcus is a neurospicy individual who loves to live life to the fullest. His philosophy is simple: life is a party so party the hell out of it, and be kind to others so they can enjoy the party too. That mindset helps him live with purpose and passion, while inspiring others to do the same.
Marcus works in higher education and finds his career deeply meaningful. He’s grateful for the amazing friends and family in his life and is a huge advocate for mental health, therapy, and personal growth. He believes in doing the inner work while still making space for joy, fun, and adventure with others.
His passions include volunteering for a local food pantry to provide food to those in need, attending Burning Man & organizing local Burning Man events, playing video games, and dancing to psychedelic trance music. Marcus believes life is best lived through exploration; trying new things, making mistakes, learning from them, and getting back up stronger, all while celebrating life with others.
Ask him about: Burning Man experiences, favorite films and video games, his love for Star Trek and his love of mental health and therapy.
Tell him about: what brings your joy, your passions, your inspirational life moments and your favorite foods.
Nina, 45, she/her
Nina is one of those deceptively quiet people who has a lot of layers and past lives. She’s trying to figure out her professional path after taking time off to overcome serious personal tragedy (and is open to talking about it). She has a lot of both useless and useful talents and 3.75 college degrees. Sometimes she gets way too eager about spreadsheets (mmm pivot tables). She likes to nerd out about a range of subjects from her aquarium critters to 3D printers and jewelry making. She also lived in Europe for 10 years and has a British passport!
Nina swings between being a hermit crab and a social butterfly depending on the day and situation and mood. Some friends call her the Mayor of Bonobo Network because she loves helping the newbies in that community. Over the decades she’s become more open about mental health with (undiagnosed & mild) autism, cyclothymia (mild bipolar), and ADHD. At moments she has a resting bitchface and a deadpan sense of humor, but at the end of the day she’s very caring and strives to be a good human!
Nina’s never the person to answer the most questions on a trivia team, but she’s a good leader who unites people and brings the ra-ra energy. She will rarely say no to a hot tub invitation and has been to Harbin Hot Springs more times than she can keep track of. She loves eating but doesn’t cook nearly enough (and when she does sometimes it’s purple because Filipino cuisine is weird like that). She recently overcame her fear of karaoke this year and is now constantly singing in her car as a result. Autumn once said they strive to emulate Nina’s comic delivery, which is a huge compliment because Autumn is already pretty fucking funny.
